A 3rd-grade teacher at Jackson Avenue Elementary in Mineola Union Free School District is using Super Bowl excitement to propel their students to 100% math fact fluency on Reflex!
“To go along with the upcoming Super Bowl, each week the children report their fluency percentage on Reflex and we move their ‘helmet’ down the field towards a 100% fluency or a touchdown. Students love to watch as their teams’ fluency moves down the field. There are four third-grade classes involved in the Reflex Bowl. The teams complete and cheer on their peers to see which team will reach their goal of 100% fluency.”
